Andrew, the founder and CEO of Smith Works, brings 20 years of construction experience to the team. His passion for people and attention to detail led him to start Smith Works. He aimed to overcome common industry challenges—such as project delays, budget overruns, and overstressed trade—by fostering a collaborative atmosphere and pushing an enjoyable construction process. This approach has resulted in healthier projects and superior end products.

After graduating from Colorado State University’s Construction Management Program, Andrew worked on numerous projects, from new builds in Aspen to extensive remodels throughout the valley, as well as small projects with tight deadlines. His focus is on finding ways to achieve the desired outcomes, rather than questioning if something can be done. Andrew’s attention to detail and creative approach bring a fresh perspective to each client’s project.

In addition to running Smith Works, Andrew enjoys riding and racing bikes, getting on the slopes with friends, leading youth group, fly fishing, visiting the dog park with Finn, and getting out to exploring new places.

Jack is new to the Smith Works team as our Director of Property Management. Jack brings unmatched positivity and joy to all aspects of life, as well as attention to detail and first-class communication.

Jack is originally from Atlanta, GA, but has been in the Roaring Fork Valley for 2 years with his wife, Madeline. After graduating from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with a degree in Environmental Studies, he found work installing solar panels in the valley. After that, he worked in the environmental consulting field before finding his way to Smith Works.

When not managing properties, Jack enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, woodworking, and fly fishing.
